Thank you for your replies and interest regarding the proposed trip to Lundy Island. I appreciate your time and for sharing your thoughts. The outcome is that a day trip to the island would be preferable. Numerous reasons for this outcome were offered which include travel arrangements sometimes being cancelled due to poor weather conditions, and the possibility of the cost of a longer stay proving to be prohibitive.

Sufficient interest is shown to arrange a day trip sometime in the summer of 2025. This will leave enough time for arrangements to be made and to advertise the date well in advance. A programme for the day will be circulated nearer the time when final numbers are in. At very least open ringing will be arranged with the opportunity of individual teams ringing together if desired. The 10, 8, and 6 bell competitions will take place as usual on the 4th Saturday in April on the mainland.
