There are a number of items which can be borrowed from the Guild to help with tower open days, talks to the community etc. These are listed below:
Miniring
A very light ring of 6 bells, named the ‘Frank Mack Miniring’, in a moveable frame. Ideal for demonstrating full circle ringing – rounds, call changes, methods – and also for the public to have a go on. Needs a sizeable car to transport and a while to set up. Demonstration bell
Also known as the ‘teaching bell’. A single smallish real bell in a frame. Good for demonstrating the action of ringing and giving people a go, but only one bell so ringing together can’t be shown. Recruitment leaflets
Produced by the Central Council, these leaflets explain a lot about ringing and include space to provide local contact details. Ideal for handing out at open days, tower visits etc. Available from the publicity officer.

Photo collection
A dozen large A4 sized photos of bells (up, down and in full swing), towers, and people ringing. Also several more slightly smaller ones showing wider ringing themes: competitions, teaching handling and training days, simulators, minirings, handbells, young ringers and the social side of things. Suitable for a display board. Available from the publicity officer.
Display Boards
Two folding display boards, each of 4 panels, making 8 panels in total. Can be used separately on tables, or clipped on top of each other. Each panel 60cm by 90cm. Total height when stacked 1.8m, or 2.05m with added top sections. Can use blue or grey sides. Soft surface ideal for Velcro to stick to (which all the Guild display photos have on the back). Stored in a lightweight carrying case. Available from the publicity officer.
