Mid-Devon 8-Bell Practice, 17 May at Teignmouth

The Teignmouth ringers are very much looking forward to our 8 bell practice at St Michael's, Teignmouth on Tuesday 17th May at 7.30pm.

Julia Brett (Teignmouth Tower Secretary) has informed me that to coincide with our visit, she has arranged for their Rector, Rev. Carol Green to bless the peal board commemorating the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Branch. The peal was rung there in January 2020 and you will recall the branch contributed towards the cost of the board. Due to Covid etc. this is the first suitable opportunity for this to take place. The blessing (not a service) will be very short and will take place at 7.30pm at the start of the practice, following which it will be hung in the ringing room.

This peal records a significant landmark in the history of our Branch, so it would be lovely to see as many Branch members as possible present for the occasion.
