Kingskerswell Open for Visitors

The Devon Historic Churches Day is held annually and this year is on Saturday 11th September. This year, as well as Kingskerswell church being open, the church has arranged for the tower to be open from 10am to 5pm, and the ringers have been asked to be responsible for this. The plan is to show people the new ringing chamber including ringing demonstrations, and take people up to see the bells and go to the top of the tower. It will obviously require quite a lot of manpower,

There is a pilgrimage walk from Shaldon which will be finishing at Kingskerswell with tea and cakes. I gather this is expected to be about 4pm.

This is an ambitious project for a small band of ringers so if you can give some time during the day please let Philip know on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
