About our Branch

Welcome to our branch, which is comprised of 14 towers and about 90 members ranging in age from pre-teens to octogenarians. In geographical terms a large area is covered, from the Exeter city towers in the east to Hatherleigh in the west. This makes it a little difficult to meet up at a central focal point, but we try hard to be all-embracing by holding a branch practice at several of the affiliated towers during the year. We also maintain a branch email list for keeping in touch and circulating important information.

Ringing

The whole spectrum of ringing is covered within the branch: from learner and Devon call change bands through to a band capable of ringing Spliced Surprise Maximus at Exeter Cathedral, and everything in between! Please do ask if you want to know more.

Social events

We also enjoy a range of social and semi-social activities throughout the year, including:

  • Skittles and supper evening
  • Branch outing, with plenty of trains/walking/ringing
  • Summer barbecue
