Newton
St Cyres - Saturday October 27 2001.
Guild
Vice-President Reg Bray reaches 99 and is tipped to be the oldest
regular Sunday service ringer - tower captain Bob Coates has a
letter from the Guinness Book of Records to prove it!
A
peal of 5040 Grandsire Triples was rung in 2 hours 36 minutes, and
Reg joined some of the band beforehand to once again ring a 120 of
Grandsire Doubles.

Plans
are already underway to make next year an even bigger celebration.
