Peter and Carol's Wedding.
Saturday 20 October 2007.
Peter Bill and Carol Margrett tied the
knot at St Paul de Leon church, Staverton, on Saturday 20 October.
It was a lovely service conducted in a very friendly and informal
manner - the bride and groom were joined in matrimony by a bell
rope light switch pull!
Whilst the register was signed, handbells
were rung by the Exeter Cathedral ringers and immediately
following the service the bells rang out by members of the local
band and members of the congregation. (Click photos to enlarge.)

After a few photos we made the short
journey back to Landscove village hall were glasses of champagne
and canapés were waiting for us. We were treated to a fine hot
buffet whilst we further indulged in some of Peter's favourite
wines (he had chosen & bought them himself!).
After a few short speeches the tables were
cleared and ceilidh dancing continued late into the night.

Those interested in the Rugby World Cup
final had to keep checking the score on car radios - and under no
circumstances was Peter to find out. He was to watch it "live"
later that night - except the excitement of the day had
overwhelmed Carol and she ended up spending the night at the RD&E
hospital! Carol returned home next morning. Quite a start to a
married life!
