Exeter Branch Train Outing.
Monday 6 May 2002.

This year's train outing was based around the West Somerset Steam Railway which runs from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead. All participants met at Tiverton Parkway to get on our very own vintage bus, hired for the day for us to use when not using the train!

The steam train took us to Dunster for our first ring. Then it was back on the bus to Holford and a short walk to Holford Combe to a super cold-food buffet laid on in the hotel. Two hours later and everyone was very full and needed the walk back.

Two more towers later, and a quick ring at Bishops Lydeard rounded off a very well planned and organised event. Well done Valerie!
