First
peal of Bristol S Maximus for the Guild
Saturday 12 January 2002.
An Exeter
Cathedral band has succeeded in ringing the first peal of Bristol
S Maximus for the Guild. The band gathered at Buckfast Abbey at
1pm on Saturday 12 January and after 3 hours and 48 minutes the
peal ran round. This was not an easy achievement and is the result
of many practice touches and hours of learning. Everyone should be
congratulated on the huge effort that went in to making this a
success.
